Financial Advisor Sales Assistant
Investment, insurance, and financial planning company looking for a full-time, experienced sales assistant to help us contact and attract new clients while servicing and selling to existing clients.
We need you to help our clients by:
- Helping clients complete and return paperwork back to us.
- Scanning, filing, and organizing paperwork
- Responding to phone calls and emails in a timely manner.
- Making outbound phone calls to existing clients and interested prospects
- Taking notes from each client interaction and organizing them for future reference
- Maintaining client and prospect contact lists
- Schedule face-to-face, telephone and Zoom appointments
- Help set up, check in, and tear down local lunch and dinner seminars.
- Basic office responsibilities: Order office supplies, lift and open boxes, sort mail, etc.
- Help us continuously improve our systems to make them more efficient and easy to use
Requirements:
- 3+ years *proven* admin or assistant experience or in a related area
- Work 2-3 hours some Saturdays and/or evenings assisting with with dinner seminars and/or making phone calls
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or better is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
- Type 40 wpm or greater, tested.
- Excellent legible handwriting
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to organize thoughts and speak succinctly
- Attention to detail, strong organizational and planning skills.
- Self-starter; motivated individual
- Comfortable with office work, including using a variety of software systems
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
- References from previous employer(s)
- Handle multiple projects
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- This is not a remote position, but there are times when you will work offsite or may be able to work from home.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
