Although this opportunity is at the Michigan City Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram location, we now include 5 award-winning dealerships throughout the Midwest which support top domestic brands such as Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, and Ford.

What Will I Be Doing?
One of the great things about our environment is that there is always something new happening. The points below are just some of the day-to-day things our Automotive Salesperson/Product Specialist would do to provide our customers with a world class experience:
- Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; inspecting automobiles.
- Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggesting trade-ins; meeting prospects at community activities; greeting drop-ins; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
- Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models.
- Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking test drives; explaining warranties and services.
- Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining warranties, services, and financing; collects payment; delivers automobile.
- Provides sales management information by completing reports.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunites; reading professional publications.
- Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individual should possess:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Previous experience in Sales recommended but not required
- Ability to be analytical, problem solve and multi-task
- Excellent communication, customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, enthusiastic presence with an ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
- Ability to apply a common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Professional appearance and a strong work ethic.
- Have and maintain an excellent driving record.
- Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
