POSITION SUMMARY
This Outside Sales Consultant position offers the opportunity to be the face of Lumbermen’s Door Division in the Northern Indy/Indiana market. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic self-starters with a passion for developing and fostering relationships. This position offers flexibility with some overnight travel. Day-to-day responsibilities for this position include:
- Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Actively listening to customers and prospects needs
- Obtaining and growing a personal knowledge of our door product offerings
- Offering exceptional customer/vendor support and timely service
- Evaluating, motivating, and training both new and existing customers
- Understanding and executing the annual sales plan
- Developing and executing annual and monthly sales objectives in accordance with the business plan of Lumbermen's
- Performing analysis of your market and territory needs
- Communicating clearly with your internal and external stakeholders

Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
- 5 years’ prior outside sales experience
- Entry door and/or building materials industry experience strongly desired

- Ability to market, sell and educate customers on both current and new products
- Ability to build and foster strong customer relationships
- Ability to overcome obstacles and challenges to drive for maximum customer-driven results
- Ability to make persuasive product presentations target to customer needs
- Strong negotiation skills
