Full description of the position

Company Overview

American Family Care (AFC) is one of the largest primary and urgent care companies in the U.S. providing services seven days a week on a walk-in basis. Our state-of-the-art centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries, workers compensation and occupational medicine. Each location is equipped with an onsite lab and in house x-ray capability.

AFC is the parent company of AFC Franchising, LLC (AFCF). This position works directly with a franchised business location. The specific job duties and benefits can vary between franchises.

Job Summary

To sell and market urgent care medical services to local business, physicians, and consumers. The main focus will be to grow the patient counts per day, increase the number of local businesses using our services and brand American Family Care to the consumer through marketing and sales events.

Responsibilities

  • Increase the total number of patients per day
  • Develop strategies to increase market awareness of urgent care and occupational health services in the local area
  • Develop definitions of target markets, business opportunities and customers through data mining, research, and experience
  • Represent the company through calling on local businesses, medical practices, presentations, or industry events and assume full accountability for the ongoing management of these opportunities
  • Develop and manage the departmental budget
  • Establish and maintain effective, positive working relationships with all departments, center and corporate employees and franchisees.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant education
  • Successful experience developing, implementing and achieving results with sales and marketing strategies
  • Ability to conduct face to face sales appointments, cold and warm calling, including but not limited to direct-to-consumer, business, and physicians
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Possess the skills to be independent, motivated and results-driven on establishing new business, following through with communication with all accounts and being held accountable for the growth in business

Travel

60% Travel is Required across the Greater Tampa Bay Area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
