Food Court Associate
Food Court Associate

The Steam Valley Travel Plaza is looking for convenience store and food court/convenience store attendants to hire at our Trout Run location. This facility is a convenience store/travel plaza with a food court; in addition to the convenience store and fueling operation, we also operate a 3 franchise food court with the following franchises: Fat Burger, Subway, and Yogurtland. Successful candidates must be willing to learn all aspects of store/food court operations. Training occurs at a pace acceptable to the employee, subject to approval by management.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Food Court

• Taking customer orders and receiving payment
• Preparing customer food orders
• Food prep for made to order and grab and go items
• Cleaning of back end, front end, and restroom facilities

Convenience Store

• Front end cashier for all convenience store and fuel transactions, including fleet card transactions on the Trendar terminal
• Closing shift and day reports/making final cash deposit
• Stocking shelve, coolers and displays
• Cleaning inside and outside the store to include pumps and islands as well as general grounds

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• No limitations that would prevent a candidate from fulfilling any required responsibility

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour

• Food service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Convenience store: 1 year (Preferred)
• Basic Math: 1 year (Preferred)
