Full description of the position

Business Development Representative (BDR)

Key Career Requirements

PIRTEK is the nation’s leading provider for on-site hydraulic hose replacement and hydraulic and industrial products. Pirtek’s basic services include assembly and installation of hoses for a diverse customer’s base such as manufacturing, construction and rental companies.

As a PIRTEK Business Development Representative (BDR) you support the local PIRTEK Service & Supply Center by making face-to-face contact with new and existing customers in Pinellas County.

BDR Key Performance Requirements:

1. Zero monthly safety incidents

2. Visit a minimum of 15 customers per day / 300 per month

3. Maintain and update a spreadsheet of customer contacts

BDR Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED

2. Good verbal and written communication skills

3. Positive attitude with a business-driven personality

4. Treats Pirtek as a professional career path, not just a job

BDR Key Responsibilities:

1. Understands the basic Pirtek business model -- diagnose and fix machine fluid leaks in hoses, lines and components at the customer worksite

2. Manage customer and intra-Pirtek relations professionally and with courtesy

3. Consistently make physical visits to customer worksites and shop locations

4. Document all customer visits results via the mileage tracker app

5. Maintain the master customer spreadsheet

6. Provide consistent communication to Dispatch, customer contacts and Ops Manager

7. Assist training of new hire MSST’s and BDR’s

In addition to a base hourly rate and personal vehicle reimbursement, you will receive monthly bonuses based on:

* Number of customers visited each month

* Number of new customers booked each month

* Increase in gross sales from the previous year

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
