About the Business Development Representative position

This position is for someone with proven experience selling a service who can drive revenue and deliver resulting growth. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, knows or learns the technical side of the industry, and collaborates to find solutions. In addition, this individual is highly driven, is looking for a growth potential position, and has a “can-do” attitude. The Business Development Representative is responsible for developing new strategic accounts, maintaining, building, and growing relationships with key clients. This person must have the ability to travel.

Responsibilities

· Identify revenue opportunities through telephone and email communications, programs, and other activities needed.

· Perform “cold calling” of leads and potential prospects with diligent follow up.

· Utilize a multi-pronged strategy to convert Leads while providing regular updates to the CRM.

· Meet reasonable sales volume goals and strategic objectives.

· Manage the closing process and dates associated with the sale.

· Build productive, professional relationships with decision-makers and key personnel within the industry.

Required Qualifications

· 2+ years industry related sales/business development experience.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Track record of exceeding goals in a quota-driven sales environment

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, as well as Salesforce experience is helpful.

Additional Skills Desired:

· Experience working in a CRM platform, such as Salesforce

· Ability to deliver compelling presentations

· Track record of exceeding goals in a quota-driven sales environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
