Chicago, IL Showroom.

Roche Bobois offers the largest range of products in the high-end furniture market (for instance 140 sofa collections and 70 Dining tables) mixing the best of new technologies & materials together with fine craft-man ship from small European workshops. All models are exclusive to the brand with made-to-order designs, manufactured with the highest level of customization.

Roche Bobois works closely with World renowned industrial designers & Architects such as Ora Ito, Marcel Wanders, Jean Nouvel, Cédric Ragot, Christophe Delcourt or Jean Prouve but also with Haute Couture fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Kenzo Takada and Missoni Home offering the best of Interior Design and Furniture on a Global Level.

Roche Bobois is expanding fast: Our North East American market is now the first business unit worldwide with a double-digit growth for the past 5 years.

Missions:

As a Sales & Design consultant, you will be responsible for understanding clients’ needs to offer the best service while maximizing sales.

Under the supervision of the store manager, the Sales and Design Consultant will be the brand ambassador of our brand: From greeting and presenting the Roche Bobois collections, to closing orders and following up the purchase process with your clients.

With the Assistance of our 3D Design Team, the ideal candidate will also offer our "Interior Design" service and work directly on both large residential and commercial projects.

The successful candidate will be driven to achieve sales in a high-end market and develop long-lasting relationship with its customer. The right candidate has a 1-year minimum experience in High End Sales or Interior Design.

Required Skills and Personal Attributes:

• The candidate has 1+ years’ experience in a retail/wholesale sales environment in the furniture industry or at an Interior Design firm.
• You can engage with an upscale client base and converse easily. Building relationships and connecting with others is a passion.
• Our top performers are goal oriented and can balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Attention to Details.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication required.
• Mastering Chinese, Russian, Hebrew, Spanish or French is a plus.
• High-end Attitude and presentation, Confident, Passionate, Pro-active, Creative, Team player, Ability to learn quickly.
• Professional / Polished appearance required.
• Interest in the Design Furniture & Art industry.
• Interior Design Degree or Certificate preferred.
• Must have a US working visa.
• PowerPoint working knowledge required.
• Technology savvy.
• AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, 20/20 & Google Sketch up are a plus.
• Comfortable doing Client Home Visits and measuring spaces.

Schedule: 5 days a week with Saturday + Sunday being required workdays.

Salary:

Base Salary plus commission 65K + Per Year

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
