Inside Sales Representative:
The Inside Sales Representative will promote Michigan Pneumatic Tool, Inc. and our product lines via direct communication with our existing customer base as well as pursuing new customers to increase our customer base and sales volume. The Inside Sales Representative will have a proven/verifiable record, exhibit strong math skills, and possess excellent organizational, time management and people skills with attention to detail while performing in a fast-paced office setting.

Duties :

• Service incoming sales calls, emails and faxes
• Provide customers with quotations, product availability and technical information
• Enter orders and process return merchandise requests
• Assist customers with shipping and billing inquiries
• Proactively call customers to maintain company exposure
• Communicate and enforce all company policies governing sales to the customers
• Review and follow-up on outstanding quotes and previous days business for accuracy
• Engage in a continuous learning process in order to gain knowledge of MPT’s product line as well as our competitors’ products
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with our customers to better service their requirements

Qualifications:

• Two (2) years minimum experience in inside sales with a manufacturer, distributor or wholesale industrial supply company
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with co-workers and management
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Experience with Activant/P21/Epicor software (helpful but not required) but at a minimum experience processing sales and sales inquiries through an ERP system
• Possess a working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.
• High school diploma required; associates/bachelor’s degree helpful but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
