Elegant Designs, a division of Penco Corporation, is seeking a Sales/Design Consultant. Penco Corporation has been a leading wholesale distributor of HVAC and plumbing supplies for over 70 years. Elegant Designs is a full functioning showroom that specializes in luxury kitchen and bath products for any home. The ideal Sales/Design Consultant candidate will possess the following:

Required Skills/Knowledge of:

• Ability to troubleshoot customer problems
• Maintain showroom and all displays
• Handle telephone inquiries and orders
• Resolve customer problems involving merchandise, design questions, product returns, repairs, warranty, etc.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships
• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing merchandise using product and design knowledge
• Maintain knowledge of all product offerings available through Elegant Designs
• Use order entry system to accurately enter product information for ordering
• Follow up as required on sales transactions to ensure correct product order, changes, product availability, ship date
• Effectively use Microsoft Office productivity software including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of Retail Sales or Customer Service

Experience in home design, architectural design or home construction

Ability to provide exceptional customer service

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong sales aptitude

Must be flexible, organized and self-motivating

Must demonstrate attention to detail

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Supplemental pay types:
