We are hiring a Cashier to handle daily operations, such as sales and customer service. Cashier duties include cash handling, product stocking and merchandising, general housekeeping and customer service. You will assist customers in selecting merchandise, collect payments and perform administrative work. The Cashier’s goal is to maximize sales of the company’s products by providing high quality customer service. We want a team player who is flexible, with strong interpersonal skills to provide a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for all customers.
• Operate the cash register, bag merchandise and properly handle different methods of payment.
• Ensure all products are in stock, accurately priced and payment is made.
• Maintain neat appearance of checkout area and operate equipment in accordance with safety regulations.
• Answer customer queries and respond to complaints.
• Perform other duties on request, like arranging deliveries and stocking merchandise.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by store management.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to work well individually as well in a team environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Prepare and cook food products
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors throughout your shift: reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling and crouching.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Must be at least 16 years old and have reliable transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour
