Gartners Gallery is seeking a self-motivated and driven individual to join our team as a full time Flooring Sales Associate in Hancock, Michigan. This is a key position in our company that will assist in the sales of flooring. Work schedule is Tuesday-Saturday, 8 hours a day.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Greet customers, discover their needs, and help them make the right decision for their home
• Provide the absolute best customer service and offer customers a premium shopping experience
• Build rapport with clients by demonstrating exceptional product knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent listening skills
• Generate sales through a low pressure consultative approach
• Measure and calculate customers' flooring needs
• Build estimates and quotes based on type of flooring and customer specs

STRONG CANDIDATES FOR THE POSITION POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

• Experience with sales and customer service, preferred
• Experience or knowledge within the flooring industry, a plus
• Able to communicate product details and information clearly with customers
• Demonstrable ability to measure and calculate flooring dimensions
• Understanding of basic math
• Experience in construction and/or building, a plus
• Valid Drivers License, required
• Proficient with computers, MS Office software (Word, Excel), QuickBooks POS and learning new technology.
