With only 100 cases of Cabernet Franc for their very first release, Crocker & Starr made a lasting impression among world class sommeliers and world wine aficionados. Today we are a thriving winery comprised of six celebrated estate wines: Cabernet Sauvignon Stone Place, Cabernet Sauvignon One Post, Cabernet Sauvignon RLC, Cabernet Franc, Malbec-Casali blends and Sauvignon Blanc. The Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc have gained us international fame for creating great wines from challenging varieties. Our Appellation wines are the avenue for expansion into the market place, critical for presence in the three-tier system.

The Team has successfully shifted the focus of sales and marketing to direct to consumer while maintaining national presence. The direct-to-consumer channel is the focus of the team and allows guests to experience the organically farmed estate first hand. The position is of Hospitality & Sales Associate will be responsible for creating exceptional, memorable experiences for our guests here at the estate. This role will be focused on developing lasting relationships and driving sales/club sign-ups on a daily basis. The ideal candidate is a positive, motivated team player who enjoys connecting with people and thrives in a team environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Host various levels of tours, tastings and guest experiences for both consumer and trade, including virtual tastings
• Assist in planning and executing on-site and off-site events
• Drive sales and club sign-ups through DTC channels: In-Person, email, phone and off-site events
• Assist in outreach programs and be a liaison to specialty drivers, concierges, destination companies and fellow winery hospitality referral leads.
• Assist with winery projects, ranging from hospitality to administrative duties
• Attend and participate in tasting room meetings and other general winery meetings

• Experience using Wine Direct, Ship Compliant, Tock desirable
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, using Excel, Word, PowerPoint

EXPERIENCE

• 2-5 years of hospitality and sales experience
• Events experience desirable

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license

COMPENSATION

• Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Pay: From $64,480.00 per year
