Now Hiring - Technical Sales Associate in Ann Arbor, MI

We are searching for a Technical Sales Associate to represent our client's thin-film and metrology tools.

In this role, you will provide support for product inquiries, quotes, and orders. You will also interact with customers on existing orders and following-up on sales leads. There will also be opportunities to assist with marketing efforts.

LOCATION
Ann Arbor, MI area

This role is 100% onsite

COMPENSATION
$50 - $65K

EDUCATION
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar field.

REQUIRED

• Strong experience with Microsoft Office
• Eager to learn and continuously improve
• Personable and outgoing self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills (both written and verbal)
• A desire to work as an Administrative Sales Associate with a globally recognized and respected company known for its cutting-edge technologies.

WOULD BE BENEFICIAL

• Technical sales-support experience
• Experience with lead tracking and financial management software is a plus (FreshDesk, FreshSales, QuickBooks)
• Experience (academic or otherwise) with thin films or optoelectronics is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE

• Work with prospects and leads to evaluate opportunities, prepare responses to product inquiries, and generate quotes.
• Document and manage contact information and opportunities
• Assist Technical Sales Engineers with getting product knowledge to potential customers at research laboratories, universities, and production facilities.
• Assist Technical Sales Engineers in updating and organizing internal Sales documentation (bill of materials, price lists, spec sheets)
• Be the point of contact for new orders and RMAs and review status with Sales, Administration, Engineering, and Production
• Assist Marketing with trade shows and product videos
• Assist with technical support and lead follow-up
