Full description of the position

Group Sales Administrator supports the Group Sales Account Managers with creating group proposals and assisting with overflow of calls. They also perform various administrative duties such as assigning group leads, compiling sales reports, and updating website content.
Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist Group Sales Account Managers with creating proposals for Group tours
• Maintain group system, including completing a group profile, updating confirmation of air, hotel, and cruise space
• Maintain strong customer service relationship with group leaders and clients ensuring to respond to questions in a timely fashion
• Assign sales dashboard request to Group Sales Account Managers
• Ensure cleanliness of sales dashboard/pipeline
• Support overflow calls that are received from the group sales phone queue and assign call backs on qualified group leads
• Assist with post travel customer complaints to ensure client satisfaction
• Assist Group Operation Manager with sales activities, including sales reporting, updating website pages and marketing promotions
• Assists with identifying areas of improvement across existing sales processes
• Additional responsibilities may be needed to accomplish the overall success of the department

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 3 years of sales experience
• Experience in the travel industry, is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills with a customer-oriented way of thinking
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to use independent judgment to analyze and resolve problems, including customer complaints and concerns
