Full description of the position

Soelect Inc. develops advanced battery components to power the next generation of electric vehicles, power tools and mobile electronics. Soelect is partnering with General Motors and one of two GM’s invested portfolio companies in battery space in 2021. We are looking for a Business Development-Battery or Material to join a world class lithium metal anode company. Will be expected to:

· Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers

· Exercises creative thinking and idea generation to advance our business performance

· Delivers innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet customers’ changing mission needs

· Conduct research to identify key clients, new markets, and growth opportunities

· Follows industry trends and pursues technology innovation to ensure Soelect offerings are cost competitive and superior to industry leading capabilities and best practices

· Promote and have a strong understanding of the company’s products

· Develop a business development strategy focused on financial gain

· Arrange business meetings with prospective clients

· Provide market intelligence and feedback to appropriate departments to drive new revenue streams and opportunities for growth

Education & Experience Requirements:

· Must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or relevant field (MBA Preferred and Battery business experience is a huge plus)

· Must have at least 5 years of experience working as a business development manager/associate, sales executive, or related role

· Battery materials or chemical business sales is a big plus

· Japanese, Chinese, Korean, French language skill is a plus

· Must have a passion for the battery tech industry

· Must possess excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

· Must possess excellent time management and planning skills

· Must possess strong problem solving, strategic and tactical thinking, and analytical skills

· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products

Pay: TBD (Based on your experiences)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
