Seeking Permanent Full Time Leasing Consultant

Enthusiastic individual for fast paced leasing office at an Washtenaw County Apartment communities. Individual must have an outgoing personality and enjoy working with people. Being organized is a must! Customer service skills are essential. Strong verbal, written and electronic communication skills are required. Previous leasing experience is beneficial, but not required.

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Ability to quickly build a rapport with guests, making everyone feel at home and welcome
• A genuine interest in assisting residents find their next home
• Be a self-motivating - self-starter who completes work on a timely basis and seeks out additional duties
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
• Possess telephone and email skills to engage prospective residents as well as current residents
• A desire to be a part of a successful, dynamic team
• Must be available for a flexible schedule, weekends and evening hours are possible
• Must have reliable transportation
• An ability and desire to grow and improve

There are a wide variety of daily duties that include but are not limited to:

• Demonstrate our properties and apt. homes with the desire to lease and fulfill the needs of prospective residents
• Answer incoming telephone calls from prospective residents, current residents, vendors and peers
• Follow up with prospective residents, via telephone, email, text
• Work in our property management software
• Continually improve product/market knowledge – conduct regular market surveys
• Continually improve sales and leasing skills
• Interact with residents
• Prepare service requests and follow up on service requests
• Application and lease document tracking
• Lease document preparation
• Assist with correspondence
• Interact with the Maintenance Team, Property Manager etc.

Reliable transportation is essential, must have valid drivers license. We are a local management company with an excellent reputation.

Compensation includes hourly wage, commissions, bonus potential. Health, dental, vision and life insurance as well as 401K participation are available!
