Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus! Bender Companies is looking to hire a Assistant Property Manager to assist with the day-to-day operations of one of our Apartment buildings in Carol Stream, Illinois. We're an owner-operator of multi-family properties throughout the Midwest.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and overseeing repairs and unit turns
• Understanding financial goals and cost/benefit operational decisions
• Coordinating and overseeing apartment and building repairs and tenant improvements
• Ensuring Tenant needs are met, fostering a positive rapport with Tenants
• Performing or directing daily, weekly, and monthly physical property and apartment inspections
• Directing maintenance personnel, helping with follow through on repairs and maintenance
• Ensuring maintenance and repairs are performed in a timely manner and per schedule
• Reviewing vendor and contractor invoices
• Working with the Maintenance department and the Leasing department to ensure that all vacant space is in "market ready" condition at all times
• Analyzing and reviewing rents
• Exploring and implementing practices for expense savings and efficiencies

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or some college
• 2 years of Apartment Property Management experience
• Bilingual in English/Spanish
