Job Summary
An Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing new and existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service while maximizing sales and profit goals. The right candidate may have an opportunity to grow into a sales leadership position.
Job Function

  • Provide exceptional customer service with a “Can-Do” attitude.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Strategize account development with territory and product managers.
  • Interpret customer requirements and negotiate pricing, service and delivery.
  • Expedite orders and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Review sales and profit reports.
  • Remain current with product knowledge, pricing, services and market/industry trends.
  • Travel with account managers to visit customers.
  • Assist with training and providing guidance to new sales associates.



Required Skills
  • High school graduate, college degree or related field strongly preferred.
  • 1-2 years Sales experience in metals distribution, manufacturing or like industry strongly preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective phone skills with a strong command of the English language.
  • Ability to negotiate, persuade and make sound business decisions.
  • Capable of building and developing strong business relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and succeed.
  • Supervisory experience a plus for potential career growth to Inside Sales Coordinator.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Work Environment : Office setting controlled temperature environment
Travel : Up to 10%
FLSA : Non-Exempt
