TalentZok is a boutique and rapidly growing staffing firm in Southern California, looking for talented professionals to join our team. We’re expanding into new markets and are currently hiring a Branch Manager in our Orange County office. This role is for our Temporary Services line of business.

About the Job (The Nitty Gritty)

'Branch Manager' is the most critical role in our firm, as you will be building and managing a team of professionals and responsible for all business within your market. This role is designed for growth, with almost limitless opportunity for advancement as TalentZok transforms from a regional powerhouse into a national brand.

The role involves inside/outside B2B sales, recruiting and customer service activities with existing and prospective clients while developing a team of Staffing Managers in support of their growth. TalentZok has a disciplined system and sales model that has been developed over two decades, and we are looking for managers who are willing and able to understand the model, execute the model, and train their staff on the model. Our successful Branch Managers have dynamic personalities, are eager to learn, and feel joy from developing their team into outperformers. This is an exceptional opportunity in a booming market.

On any given day, a Branch Manager might be:

  • Coaching a team member through negotiations, handling sensitive issues, closing, etc.
  • Conducting an employee 1:1 review
  • Conducting an employee daily activity review ('DAR') to review client contacts, client visits, target list status, etc.
  • Presenting monthly/quarterly reports to executive management
  • Developing business and operational strategies
  • Redirecting branch priorities, including both sales and operational activities
  • Contributing on firmwide teams to develop new sales models or marketing materials
  • Meeting with key clients to understand needs and assess team performance
  • Developing and administering client surveys
  • Developing and administering internal surveys
  • Leading by example through personal sales activity and revenue generation
  • Conducting daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings to establish rhythm, accountability, and consistency
  • Participating in and leading firmwide trainings and team-building events

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree strongly preferred
  • B2B Sales Experience required
  • 2+ years of experience in a fast paced staffing/recruiting firm
  • 2+ years of management experience leading a sales team
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed goals/metrics
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver exceptional service and results
  • Attention to detail, even when multi-tasking or when under a deadline
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Ethical in all actions
  • Desire to have fun and grow with a dynamic local company
  • Ability to work in TalentZok’s Santa Ana office full time, visiting the Torrance market once a week
