The Historic Magnolia House seeks a positive, service-oriented, energetic, and self-motivated Event Sales Manager to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to take part in the launch of the company’s developing boutique-lifestyle brand. As Event Sales Manager you will have a rare opportunity to help lead and define this next chapter.
Work Schedule
This is Full Time onsite role. weekly and will require weekend work as needed. Likewise, additional hours may apply when executing special projects.
Responsibilities
- *Managing the sales process from start to finish, including booking events, entering data into a computer system, and collecting payment from clients *Negotiating contracts with vendors and sponsors on behalf of the organization *Coordinating with partners/vendors to ensure that all requirements are met for events such as concerts or conventions *Coordinating the event logistics such as booking speakers and musicians, procuring decorations, and arranging catering services *Managing the financial aspects of an event such as tracking expenses and generating reports *Coordinating the event marketing efforts such as creating brochures, developing a website, or designing fliers or banners *Selling tickets to events to a wide range of customers including individuals, corporations, or other organizations *Creating detailed plans for each event along with timelines and budgets
Education:
- Candidate with a two-year associate degree or experience in related field of Hospitality or Event Management. Courses in hospitality, marketing, public relations, business, and communications can be helpful for an event Manager.

- Displays strong hands-on operational skills; thrives in customer interactions.
- Thinks critically and objectively; has excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions based on business demands.
- Is technologically savvy, with a strong understanding of social media
- Must be able to work in a fast paced and creative work environment. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and late nights.
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation depends on your experience.
