Lincare is currently seeking a Clinical Sales Dietitian to join our Enteral Team.

Lincare offers a complete enteral nutrition program, as prescribed by practitioners, with optional assistance from our registered dietitians. This includes enteral nutrition formulas, a wide range of feeding tube supplies, and equipment suited to patients’ needs. As a Clinical Sales Dietitian, you will be responsible for growing and maintaining the territory’s enteral patient census.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work in a designated territory performing sales activities. Promoting Lincare’s enteral services to physicians, hospitals, cancer centers, rehabilitation centers, and other key referral sources whose patients require home enteral nutrition
- Identify and develop new referral sources
- Maintain market information by tracking daily sales activity via a CRM platform
- Responsible for obtaining a predetermined number of enteral setups from new referral sources each month
- Responsible for maintaining and managing a minimum monthly patient admits/census
- Conduct in-services for referral sources, educating them in the use and application of Lincare enteral equipment
- Prepare for and participate in vendor fairs, exhibits, and luncheons
- Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issues sales promotion materials to customers
- Responsible for community education regarding all aspects of medical nutrition services provided by Lincare
- Responsible for all aspects of enteral nutrition care for the home tube-fed patient and other medical nutrition-related activities
- Recognize and respect patient rights during the provision of care or services and conducting business relationships with patients and the public in an ethical manner
- Monitor patients’ response to the care or services provided, the actions or interventions taken, and the outcome of the care or service provided
- Drive to admit, deliver, and pick up such items as enteral formula, feeding pump(s), IV poles, and related feeding supplies to patients’ homes or places of business
- Educate patients in relation to their enteral feeding to facilitate safe and effective use and desired care, treatment, and service outcomes
- Provide patient care, treatment, and service in a continuous and coordinated manner in settings appropriate to meet patient needs
- Promote the use of safe, effective patient and organizational environments and feeding equipment
- Obtain, utilize, and update patient information confidentially and securely for utilization in patient care applications
- Recognize and implement infection control practices that reduce the risk of infections in patients and organizational staff
- Listen to and resolve service complaints appropriate to the scope of practice
- Frequently communicate and interact with Enteral Intake Team
- Participate in ongoing education, including in-services, training, and other activities, in order to maintain and improve individual competence
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to navigate Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must have excellent human relations skills to interface with doctors, other referral sources, and patients
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from an accredited institution
- (Nutritionist or Dietitian preferred)
- Licensed as a registered and licensed dietitian for geographic areas where he/she manages patients (preferred)
- Will also consider someone who is an LPN or RN with RD experience
