Our Leasing Consultant is a hands-on, property level position. You are the first step in creating a sense of community for current and prospective residents and are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and using your skills to convert prospects to leases. Areas of focus include building relationships, implementing and executing the Company’s leasing Policy & Procedures, and being accountable in meeting leasing goals. This position reports to the Property Manager.
Responsibilities
- Greet prospective, new and existing residents in person and over the phone. Conduct apartment tours, perform follow ups, and diligently pursue the close of each lease.
- Oversee and ensure the accurate completion of application and lease paperwork.
- Ensure the leasing team has the required sales and marketing materials to complete leasing.
- Ensure the leasing office, lease documents, and marketing materials are up to date.
- Participate in the creation of annual marketing plans and ensure execution of all marketing tactics outlined.
- Plan and implement the annual renewal leasing campaign with input from the property manager and corporate office.
- Complete weekly market surveys and conduct industry tours of properties in the local market.
- Continually evaluate the marketing plan and budget based on leasing data and resident/staff feedback to make improvements to the plan and/or adjust for new opportunities or when tactics are not effective.
Requirements
Our ideal andidate has at least 2 years in experience in a leasing consultant role, a proven history of providing top notch service to residents, and a keen interest in elevating an already strong residential community to the top of its workforce housing market. Property Management Software Knowledge (Entrata a plus!!), knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability are also sought.
**Great customer service, hospitality or sales experience will certainly be considered in lieu of the above mentioned requirements.**
