We are looking for a Leasing Agent to present and lease properties to prospective lessors. The goal is to secure qualified tenants and maintain a high occupancy rate for our portfolio. The position is full-time and non-exempt. An employee’s regular schedule is Mon-Thu 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-1pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Advertise available properties using a variety of media and promoting materials
• Update marketing as it becomes rented
• Process applications, confirm rental application data and personal references
• Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and close deals
• Prepare lease documents
• Ensure move-in packets are prepped and required documents received before move-in
• Property Tours to present properties and provided amenities in a positive light
• Stay knowledgeable of the property market status
• Property Inspections
• After Hours - on call, rotated monthly between the team with a $500 incentive per rotation

DESIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES

• APPFOLIO management software experience preferred
• Property management experience of 1+ years preferred
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks on a daily basis
• Superior written and verbal communication skills and negotiation skills
• Extremely computer literate with a knack for technology
• Results-oriented with the ability to balance all business considerations
• Persuasive with marketing and sales skills
• Working knowledge of Montana Landlord Tenant Laws

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
