Full description of the position

Kroger is hiring a Personal Finance Selling Champion in Indianapolis, IN!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Sales experience
  • Ability to travel independently.
  • Basic computer/laptop/iPad computer skills
  • Email skills: reading and composing
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate to all types of customers
  • Ability to balance persistence within the parameters of the Customer First strategy

Essential Job Functions:

  • Greet customers
  • Describe the Kroger REWARDS VISA product's features and benefits.
  • Determine customer's needs and recommend the Kroger REWARDS VISA card.
  • Provide information about terms and conditions.
  • Understand and follow all legal and regulatory compliance regulations regarding credit card acquisition.
  • Meet sales goals by submitting applications same day through the appropriate CAM channel.
  • Take part in special in-store or external events to market the credit card.
  • Travel as required to stores within the division to complete selling events.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing store/divisional sales goals.
  • Ability to prepare for, and present at, meetings and training events.
  • Conduct training and coaching as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of competitors’ credit card offerings and provide feedback to divisional KSM.
  • Arrange and display merchandise; keep selling table tidy.
  • Take stock of inventory; requisition new stock.
  • May be called upon to use an iPad to gather customer information and complete applications.
