Emergency Communication Sales – East Region

Compensation $80K - 130K plus

(Inclusive of both base pay and targeted commission with no caps)

In this position, you will excel at showcasing a code required life safety emergency monitoring service to the hospitality industry and help us grow.

The Hard Work

This position is about getting up early, helping build a newly defined vertical, balancing travel for face-to-face meetings and virtual meetings across the East Region, and getting outside your comfort zone. You will need the ability to grow through constructive feedback and coaching, and pressure to perform by honoring your word through daily and consistent effort.

Primary Responsibilities

To succeed in this job, you must:

  • Prospect and cultivate new opportunities each week to maintain a full pipeline and exceed your sales target
  • Achieve territory success by driving your sales prospecting efforts and conducting quality sales appointments with prospective clients within a defined vertical
  • Drive the sales process by identifying target markets and contacts, maintaining an accurate client database, and building a network
  • Blend your sales efforts through prospecting, partner relationship, association and marketing events, and networking
  • Have discipline to follow a repeatable process
  • Embrace consistent sales skills building and industry knowledge
  • Work with sales manager to identify opportunities
  • Develop a plan with your sales manager to achieve goals

Essential Skills and Experience

  • History of selling a service-related solution in the hospitality industry, primarily hotels
  • Experience prospecting and selling across a large region within a defined vertical
  • Experience with a documented sales process and sales methodology (i.e. SPIN, Challenger) preferred
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Positive attitude: one that can manage through challenges and change in a professional manner
  • Naturally self-motivated, driven, and competitive
  • Working knowledge of email, and basic Microsoft Office suite, and CRM (we use Salesforce)
