ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Executive Director, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Business Development to join our team in Oahu, HI.

Summary

Directly support ManTech’s DoD business sector and focus on supporting the INDOPACOM COCOM HQ and Service Component organizations. Emphasis will be on d eveloping ManTech’s role in supporting our mission partners in the USINDOPACOM AOR . Leverag e your intimate knowledge and relationships with a broad multi-level network of INDOPACOM stakeholders and operational mission requirements to help develop business that supports our customers and helps ManTech grow in this market . Work with the most senior managers across ManTech to develop strategy and drive business growth on the business sector’s largest, most strategic opportunities. Relocation available.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Work closely with the appropriate ManTech business programs to provide strategic direction and leadership .
  • Develop comprehensive and compelling solutions .
  • Support qualification of new business opportunities .
  • Develop creative and innovative capture strategies .
  • Assist in the preparation of winning proposals for our government clients.
  • Understand market trends and technical direction of USINDOPACOM customers , and translat e customer intelligence into compelling capture strategies and solutions is the essence of this position.
  • Leverage a deep operational understanding of the COCOM’s mission needs and objectives focused in the areas of Systems Engineering & Integration; Software Development; Test & Evaluation; C5ISR; and Modeling & Simulation.
  • Conduct market analysis, strategic business planning, and capture strategy/solution development, leading to award of major programs.
  • Oversight of customer contact and positioning, teaming interactions and coordination with other internal business development, capture, solution architecture and sales resources available across ManTech.
  • Mange customer relationships and track opportunities tracking .


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree with a minimum of 1 5 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to cross-sell capabilities and solutions into multiple market segments.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered, particularly with military service.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/execute disciplined account management supporting future capture and proposal efforts for large and/or complex captures focused on USINDOPACOM in the areas of Systems Engineering & Integration; Software Development; Test & Evaluation; C5ISR; and Modeling & Simulation are essential .
  • Ability to market and sell expanding capabilities into Enterprise Information Technology; Data Center, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud and Cloud Migration; Enterprise IT Application Development, COTS Business Applications, Modernization and Maintenance .
  • The candidate must be an organized, aggressive, and highly-skilled professional with proven success in selling in a highly competitive systems engineering and professional service markets to DoD clients.
  • Prior experience with the Shipley Business Acquisition Process is preferred .
  • Ability to drive/follow the Account Management and lead a Capture Process from Opportunity Positioning and Qualification through Proposal Development and Opportunity Closing .
  • C andidate must be willing to travel for the position.
  • It is preferable that the candidate has served in a military organization under INDOPACOM or one of its component commands.
  • It is preferable that the candidate has held a lead role in a defense and professional services sales organization .
  • Experience with a variety of contract types including cost plus fixed fee, fixed price, award fee, and performance based contracting are key.
  • Familiarity with major DOD acquisition vehicles like : DTIC IAC MAC, ITES-3 , ENCORE III, and GWAC vehicles (Alliant 2, OASIS , ASTRO ) and Sea P ort -NxG.


Security Clearance:

  • TOP SECRET with SCI eligibility is desired .

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time .
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel .
  • Must be able to employ computer resources and other office productivity machinery .
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations .
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
