Now Hiring - Retail Sales Music Educational Sales Representative - School Service Rep in Mobile, AL

The purpose of an Educational Rep is to establish a professional business relationship with band directors within a territory. An Educational Rep should utilize his or her skills to become an invaluable asset to the band director and their program. Building these relationships will help grow a successful and profitable school rental and sales program.

Educational representatives must possess the necessary skills and background to communicate well with band directors, administrators, parents, and students. This position is best suited for high-energy individuals that are self-motivated, goal-oriented, and well organized. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of band and orchestra instruments and an understanding and familiarity with school music programs.

The requirements and responsibilities listed below are not inclusive, as the company cannot, with foresight, determine what is necessary for every circumstance.

Requirements:

• Initial 6+ Months will be spent in our retail store learning our systems, processes, and selling procedures.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and pass a criminal background check
• Travel is required the majority of the time. Some overnight stays may be necessary
• Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs of weight. Pushing, pulling, and lifting will be required to load and unload products to schools and clients
• Comfortable with technology and public speaking
• Weekly visits to Andy's Music in Mobile, AL
• Some weekend availability
• Travel along the Gulf Coast of AL, MS, FL and inland
• Bachelor’s Degree

Responsibilities:

• Establish, plan, and run band rental meetings and step-up events as instructed by Andy’s Music
• Assist schools with recruitment as instructed by Andy’s Music
• Continuously service school accounts by delivering supplies & picking up/returning rental instruments to schools
