Inside Sales Representative

Livingston, NJ (Onsite)

Hours: 9 am - 5 pm

The Inside Sales Representative in Livingston, New Jersey, will work alongside the Director of Sales and the Marketing Team to assist the team in its daily business development activities. The Inside Sales Representative will report directly to the Director of Sales – in North America.

Inside Sales Responsibilities:

• Cold calling, making multiple outbound calls/emails, and other points of contact to potential leads
• Researching potential leads from web searches, email campaigns, digital resources, etc.
• Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, websites, etc.
• Creating and maintaining a list/database of leads
• Maintaining and growing all existing service/support contracts
• Assist the marketing team with the planning and logistics of the conferences
• Log all interactions with the customers via email, text, phone, or in person
• Maintain records of all client relations
• Manages quotes, quote follow-ups as well as all necessary sales processes
• Responding to web and email-submitted quote requests
• Builds relationships and trust with customers through open communication
• Takes ownership of issues that arise and keeps the customer informed of the status of the resolution

Inside Sales Requirements and Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in Biotechnology, Biopharmaceutical, or Life Sciences customer service or sales
• BA/BS degree or equivalent
• Must be comfortable making cold calls and talking to potential clients all-day
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills – the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
• Energetic, Outgoing, Friendly
• Previous experience in a team environment is preferred
• Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Experience working with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Sci-leads as well as other software platforms
• Previous experience in an outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience, is required

The candidate should be detail orientated and should have a keen eye for aesthetics and details. The candidate should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
