Due to constant growth, PQE is looking for a new Business Development Coordinator. As a Business Development Professional, you will be responsible for supporting and learning the sales cycle. You will partner with business development to drive new and incremental revenue.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for potential new clients and create compelling business cases to best market PQE capabilities to support life sciences companies (Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Biotechnology, etc.) and decision-makers that are being introduced to PQE services
- Will be responsible for cold-calling and cold-emailing to secure new business conversations in order to create a pipeline of interested clients
- Maintain a territory by organizing ongoing outreach
- Create and manage business processes relevant to the sales cycle
- Employ creative approaches and methods to manage your time independently and interact with the market
- Support and partner with the business development team to manage the sales pipeline and achieve annual revenue goals by engaging prospects throughout the steps of the sales cycle
- Learn and maintain client details in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application
- Commit to sales development trainings, corporate initiative, and be flexible to collaborate with team members
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of current market conditions, contending offerings and current penetration of services and solutions
- Apply and demonstrate the solution selling and account management practices
- Using detailed, comprehensive industry knowledge and experience to develop and support project strategies
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in business development, relationship building & advanced closure, and/or driving sales in a solutions-selling environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a science
- Must be coachable, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented, as well as a proven track record of high achievement
- Needs to have a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work in a dynamic, challenging, and exciting environment
- You are a deal maker and self-starter who develops and wins new business in a complex consulting environment with sophisticated solutions
- You work with energy, drive and dedication to overcome obstacles to achieve your goals
- You take ownership and encourage others to make a positive impact
- Strong communication skills, including presenting on general and industry-specific topics
