Overview

Ideal Start Date - March 1, 2023

40 hours per week - 9am-5pm with comp time for showings afterhours and on Saturdays 10am – 1pm

This position serves as the point person for the office and management for leasing and marketing. They will be responsible for showing units, communication with leasing agents and other staff in regard to potential vacancies.

Leasing Responsibilities and Duties:

· Work with property managers to accurately communicate upcoming and current vacancies including current show-ability, amenities, key exchange, and accurate marketing descriptions.

· Unit/Property inspections including walking units prior to showings, creating maintenance lists for property managers, picking up any debris/junk mail, turning on apartment lights, blinds, etc., updating mailbox and doorbell labels prior to new tenant moving in.

· Follow up with incoming rental inquiries to pre-qualify prospects, schedule showings, managing the showing calendar and confirming appointments

· Arriving early for showings and being prepared to answer questions about the units and common areas; including apartment amenities; laundry room, electrical room; bike room; etc. Having a working knowledge of local area; shopping centers, theaters, school district and parks.

· Lead the lease sign process including but not limited to following up on applications, screening (run applications, verify employment & previous landlord), property manager approval, lease signing and collection of initial payments.

· Unit walk through prior to and at move-in/key pick up. Coordination with Property Manager regarding turn-over needs and progress as well as other contractor matters related to new move-ins.

Marketing Responsibilities and Duties:

· Creatively update and market available listings on M&M website, Zillow, [please apply online] Craigslist and any other applicable sites.

· Work with bookkeeping to ensure billing for marketing efforts

· Manage lead process on various sites

· Work with property managers to schedule photo shoots on available units

· Develop new marketing materials to give to prospective tenants at showings.

Employee is responsible for keeping leasing license up to date. M&M Property Management will cover continuing education and leasing license expenses.

Employee is responsible for having access to a car, keeping a current Illinois Driver’s License and keeping their leasing license up to date. M&M Property Management will cover continuing education and leasing license expenses.

Qualifications and Skills

· Leasing experience and Leasing agent license preferred

· MS Office Proficiency and strong technical skills

· Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task

· Vehicle Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
