Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this position will be responsible for managing processes, procedures, tools and the timely updates for SAP Demand Planning and Visual Demand Planning. This position will be responsible for delivery of accurate sales forecast updates, SAP IBP updates and variance reporting that incorporate data from multiple divisional ERP systems, Finance, Salesforce CRM, Sales and Customer Service personnel, Customers and other sources. This position will be an active participant in the SAP IBP process, Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) process for multiple divisions, monthly Business Reviews, annual Budget planning sessions, Staff Meetings and other activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage SAP Demand Planning, Visual Demand Planning and SAP IBP tools
- Deliver annual sales budgets and rolling monthly forecasts on a timely basis with a high degree of forecast accuracy and providing detailed analysis on variances and revised projections.
- Create reports and collate inputs from the global sales and customer service teams to provide sales variance analysis with appropriate plans to meet and/or exceed the annual budget.
- Act as one of the sales department focals in working with IT, Finance and Production Planning to create business intelligence tools that include ERP systems, Salesforce CRM, databases, spreadsheets, reports, metrics, KPIs and dashboards.
- Deliver a volume and revenue based rolling forecast with variance analysis and where necessary, incorporate action plans from the sales team that are necessary to attain and/or exceed budgets, forecasts, goals and quotas.
- Ensure all quotes are accurately entered, tracked / dispositioned in Salesforce CRM.
- Actively participate in the Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) process for all divisions.
- Participate in the development of training tools and provide support to the sales and customer service for the ERP systems, budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, quotations and Salesforce tools.
- Perform other duties for the sales department, corporation and divisions, as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree, business, finance, marketing, engineering, technology or science preferred.
- 3-5 years forecasting, sales analytics, marketing and/or planning experience required.
- Prefer aerospace industry experience with products, kits and/or assemblies.
- Must have experience with SAP, preferably with IBP tools. Experience with Visual would be advantageous.
- Must have excellent MS Excel skills with experience, prefer prior experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools, and experience with ERP systems.
- Must possess strong data analytical skills to problem solve, manage and measure business, and seek opportunities for improvement while ensure the highest degree of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written English communications skills; ability to clearly communicate ideas and complex situations working separately and in a large group setting.
- Highly effective time management, organizational skills, planning and attention to detail.
- Ability to accomplish goals and tasks with teams through teamwork; influencing and leading; negotiation.
- Self-motivated, quick learner, comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
