Insurance Account Sales Specialist

Job Description:

The Insurance Account Sales Specialist provides an excellent customer experience for potential and existing customers. Identifies new opportunities to cross sell, prospect for new business and use consultative selling techniques. Working with the Agency Team to attain over all agency goals.

• Responds to customers inquiries regarding coverages, billing, claims or product by following established agency processes and procedures.
• Drives customers satisfaction by following the J.D. Power’s best practices
• Processes changes to existing accounts and policies
• Serves as a liaison on behalf of the customer between the agency and various business partners
• Participates in reviews of existing coverages and may advise customers regarding policy options
• Estimates and quotes policy premiums complying with underwriting guidelines
• Assists customers with claims by directing them to the appropriate Claims Department contacts and resources. Follows up to ensure customer needs are addressed.

Position requirements:

• High School Diploma
• One year of experience in a sales environment, preferably prospecting, networking, preparing quotes or two years of customer service experience
• Superb communication skills
• Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft office suite)

• Valid driver’s license required
• Currently holds or willing to maintain property and casualty insurance license currently.
