Position Summary

The Director, Off-Road & Non-Vehicle Sales is responsible for developing sales strategies in order to achieve Airide air spring sales objectives for large accounts. This role works alongside large customers to introduce new products and services, while maintaining strategic sales relationships.

  • Managing a global sales team focused on the air suspension market for the industrial and fluid power segments.

  • Developing growth strategy for the air suspension market for multiple customer verticals, including rail, OTR, and Agricultural segments.

  • Developing medium to long-range sales plans and preparing strategies to protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with a defined group of existing customers.

  • Identifying and managing interactions with assigned group of existing customers to identify cross/up and repeat sales opportunities.

  • Resolving problems and ensuring customers receive high quality customer service.

  • Developing client retention and growth plans and strategies for developing profitable business with assigned accounts

  • Reviewing and reporting on customer retention, business opportunity and market trends Incumbents in this specialization may be selling directly to the ultimate purchaser or indirectly through channel partners. Incumbents matching to this specialization are compensated based on achievement of sales targets.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing direct sales teams.

  • 5+ years of experience building global sales strategies for OEM applications.

  • Experience managing distribution networks (including large national distributors)

  • Key account manager experience (can include national accounts)

  • Sales reporting experience (examples including Power BI, Salesforce, Tableau)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • P&L budget management experience.

Bachelor’s degree; 8+ years of relevant experience including 5+ years management or leadership experience.
Or Master’s degree; 6+ years of relevant experience including 4-5 years management or leadership experience.
