Rental Property Management near Lake Merritt is looking for a highly motivated Property Manager who can manage, market and maintain properties, its residents and staff while meeting the financial objectives of the company. The right candidate is responsible for the overall operations of the properties, daily implementation and execution of the company policies and procedures, resident retention and satisfaction, proper upkeep of the buildings and renovations/capital improvements.

Duties and responsibilities:

· Oversee the overall financial and operating performance of the property

· Lead, motivate and develop a high performing staff. Provide coaching, guidance, ongoing feedback and motivation to staff

· Effectively manage residents’ concerns in a professional timely manner

· Prepare and conduct property inspections

· Identify and coordinate the maintenance activities and priorities within budgetary limits of the property.

· Ensures both interiors and exteriors of the property are properly maintained

· Ensure the property's move in, move out and recertification process are timely and accurate

· Serve as the tenant liaison

· Attend court hearings as needed

· Other duties as assigned by the corporate office when needed.

Job Requirements:

· 1-2 years of Property Management experienced

· Strong understanding of Federal, State and Local Fair Housing Laws and Provisions

· Effective and strong communication skills

· Attention to detail, organization, strong time management and problem solving skills

· Can work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays as needed

· Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
