- Define and accelerate local and regional growth opportunities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to accelerate and sustain ongoing aggressive sales growth
- Recommend the most realistic sales goals for the company including budget and forecast
- Establish & manage effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise & train direct reports
- Perform and exemplify People Management and build talent that contributes to the on-going success of the business. Develop successors for each key position and create organisation flow
- Contribution to Country/Business Strategy Formulation
- Lead Strategy Implementation
- High-Level Customer Interfacing
- Direct the local business and contribute to the regional and WW business contributions
- Build strong sales and marketing capabilities
Purpose
The objectives of the role are:
- Adapts & aligns the regional business strategy from BVI to specific countries situation and takes the lead to align & develop tactical execution of the sales (Direct and Indirect), marketing and operational plans, as well as directing the development of adequate tools & processes to accelerate & drive sales & income growth
- Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue through positive planning, deployment & management of products specialists
Qualification
- Significant depth and breadth of business knowledge and experience (5+ years)
- Knowledge of local markets
- Ability to deal with high level opinion leaders
- Experience of Distribution Management
- Confirmed capabilities for people management
- Established track record to successfully lead sales and marketing organizations
- Knowledge of the medical devices industry and environment
- English
- Fully IT literate
