Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU DO
You understand the competitive landscape and do what it takes to secure business that meets or exceeds revenue expectations and profit goals. You solicit, negotiate and book new and repeat clients using multiple channels, such as social media, outside calls, and telemarketing. By capturing the client's vision and effectively conveying the specifications to appropriate departments, you are able to rapidly respond to inquiries, concerns, and issues, ensuring an exceptional client experience and seeding future sales. You build meaningful and lasting relationships with your customers, continually innovating to expand your reach with key corporate, business, and travel industry accounts, tapping into community organizations and the media to elevate the hotel's market share and drive additional business. You will work closely with Director of Revenue, Front Office, and Reservations to establish group and entertainment room nights and revenues. You maintain accurate, legible records and files to provide group history, ensure future and current quality service and enhance future prospects.

You have connections as an active member of the hospitality community, and are continuously seeking relationships with tourism boards, airlines, convention industry professionals, and other travel professionals. Cultivating these relationships comes naturally, and you are always thinking about future business. You are motivated by meeting and exceeding sales goals, and you take great pride in working as a team to achieve collective goals. You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education or experience, with three years' employment in luxury or boutique hotel sales with high-end agency clientele. You have an advanced knowledge of sales and hospitality principles and practices, a professional image, and excellent verbal and written English communications skills.
