In-home Sales Consultant
AVI’s In-home Sales Consultants are at the front of helping customers imagine the many possibilities of their window and door projects. Ours is a consultative sale, centered on building relationships and providing our customers with an exemplary sales and customer service experience.
The In-home Sales Consultant opportunity offers a sizable and consistent income, the ability to develop a career, and a chance to develop relationships that could lead to repeat business and sales. You will be supplied with leads and many tools for success that will enable you to start earning immediately.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Consult with homeowners to determine which of our premium window products suit their project needs
- Meet with prospective customers to educate, consult, inform, and sell!
- Become well versed, and stay educated on product features and benefits
- Develop and expand customer base to optimize sales and referral business
- Update customers on product opportunities and promote ancillary products
- Leverage AVI inside sales support and technology to assist you in closing the sale
- Work with management to develop sales strategies and lead generating opportunities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Demonstrated track record of success in the in-home selling environment
- Experience in exterior sales, such as windows, doors, siding, roofing
- Knowledge of general construction applications and terminology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Energetic and engaging interpersonal skills with the drive to succeed
- Ability to overcome objections in the sales process
- Travel within the assigned territory based on provided and self-generated leads
- Proficient with basic computer skills
- Flexibility for appointments with our customers (Monday-Friday)
- Valid driver’s license and automobile (mileage reimbursed)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
