What will you work on?

The Director of Licensing & Sales expert will be responsible for driving strategy, sales, business planning including finance and business management. Developing and delivering strong presentations, communications, and managing the sales process through to a finalized agreement with the goal of meeting or exceeding revenue targets, growth objectives and marketing initiatives. Analyze business performance and work with partners to develop growth objectives. Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitors, marketplace dynamics and opportunities. Work with Franchise, Brand, and retail business development teams at Spin and with Licensees to craft merchandising and marketing plans that maximize sales, and commercial and brand opportunities.

• Create first to market initiatives and clever products and promotions that the competition admires, and the consumer satisfaction is high.
• Create tangible, promotable Products, Experiences, Activations, promotions, and digital assets that are innovative and engage consumers and enhance their brand experiences such that stakeholders are impressed & proudly tell the to the press and the boardroom.
• Stay focused on corporate and brand mid- and long-term priorities that will have tangible KPI and engagement results
• Constantly focus on maintaining the most important strategic partnership that will drive business growth.
• Overcome adversity with optimism on a consistent basis
• Lead with inspiration and empathy

What are your skills and experience?

• Your background will include at least 7+ years as a licensor.
• Experience managing and collaborating with teams
• High level of knowledge on the licensing, entertainment, and consumer products industries
• Moderate Travel required
• Educated to under-graduate degree level or equivalent but an MBA is preferred

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in California is $125 000 to $165 000. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
