Oakwood Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Columbus, Ohio portfolio. It is Oakwood Management Company’s outstanding team that has grown Oakwood into the largest local property management company in Central Ohio. The successful candidates must be self-motivated, dependable, organized, flexible, and have strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete resident maintenance requests and work orders.
• Coordinate the turn process of vacant apartments into market ready apartments.
• Complete tasks associated with the physical upkeep of the community including but limited to: grounds, building maintenance, pool, turf repair, and preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate and lead other Maintenance Technicians.

Required Traits, Skills, and Qualifications:

• Previous multi-family property management or construction experience is a plus.
• Good communication skills; both verbally and written.
• Demonstrated aptitude in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC knowledge/skills.
• Build relationships with residents, staff, and colleagues.
• Provide leadership and act as a role model.
• Energetic, personable and professional.
• Great customer service skills.
• Possess a strong work ethic.
