Full description of the position

Are you passionate about health and wellness, building relationships, networking, and building persuasive and compelling messaging? Are you a self-starter, but also enjoy working with dynamic teams? Do you have a background in sales or business development? If so, we're looking for talent like you to join our team!


Who are we?

Private Medical has spent the last 20 years creating a new category of concierge medicine — private medicine — by designing a system that honors the relationship between patients, physicians, and each member of the care team. Based in California and New York, our physician-led teams work in concert with our Gynecologists, Naturopathic Medicine Doctors, curated local specialists, elite medical centers, and specialists around the world, to provide evidence-based, longitudinal care to our members and their families. Private Medical is, by design, privately held and free from any conflicts of interests.


Right now, we’re looking for a Business Development Associate (aka Sales Associate, Sales Executive, Sales Representative) to identify venues of interested parties in a five star medical practice and create a steady and growing funnel of prospects.


About you:

  • Bachelors degree with at least four (4) years of sales experience
  • A passion for health & wellness
  • Familiarity with luxury brands preferred
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • A self starter who takes strong initiative
  • Expertise with Salesforce practices
  • Ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Ability to develop and nurture key relationships
  • You have some understanding of clinical medicine and finance terminology
    • This will enable you to share enough about the ‘how’ of what we do in addition to the ‘why’ - To us, health is an asset to manage like a portfolio


What will you be doing in this role?

  • Tell the ‘Private Medical’ story in an inspiring, non “salesy” manner
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Achieve sales targets and outcomes
  • Understand the demographics and psychographics of our target (audience profiles)
  • Market research & analysis to identify various lists of prospects per market
  • Research organizations, find points of contact if needed, and develop programs that promotes on-going referrals
  • Review all existing trends of referrals, existing funnels and databases
  • Continually collect feedback and communicate insights and opportunities to the team
  • Be independent and able to work effectively while connecting with team members in a productive way
  • Attend events where our Founder is a speaker, panelist or featured guest
