Overview:
The Workplace Business Development Executive focuses on providing commercial furnishing solutions to clients for short term needs. These clients include commercial real estate, healthcare, technology, manufacturing, energy, finance/insurance, entertainment, office furniture dealers, and modular companies.
Work primarily from home supported by a design team, project coordinator, and local operation/distribution team. Engage with customers virtually and in person to close new business, identify client needs, and build upon existing business.
This is a salary plus commission role, earning up to $90,000-105,000 a year. Responsibilities:

We’re looking for a dynamic salesperson to join CORT’s Workplace team covering the thriving Nashville area. This person must be a self-starter, competitive, and a networker who thrives in a fast-paced environment providing solutions to a wide variety of clients.
The Workplace Business Development Executive focuses on providing commercial furnishing solutions to clients for short term needs. These clients include commercial real estate, healthcare, technology, manufacturing, energy, finance/insurance, entertainment, office furniture dealers, and modular companies.
Work primarily from home supported by a design team, project coordinator, and local operation/distribution team. Engage with customers virtually and in person to close new business, identify client needs, and build upon existing business.

- Meet or exceed revenue goals
- Prospects to obtain potential clients
- Build referral relationships through strategic networking
- Act as a client liaison (end-to-end) while collaborating with space planning, client services, and operations
- Specify CORT furnishing for short and long-term needs
- Maintain client activities in CRM (SalesForce)
- Work proficiently across a variety of technology platforms
- Weekly and monthly reports
- Minimum 5 years outside B2B sales experience (office furniture a plus)
- Successfully meets/exceeds goals
- Prospecting and networking experience
- Strong communication skills, written and oral
