Counter Top Sales / Interior Designer

Tennessee Tile and Marble co. has an immediate opening for a Counter Top Sales / Interior Designer in our Hermitage showroom. This person will generate sales in both the multi-family building, and residential markets. Activities will be a blend of both inside and outside sales support, development and management. Our customer base is focused on the professional builder, which may range in scale from small to large production builders, and also residential homeowners. If you are a self-motivated driven individual who enjoys sales and a fast-paced environment, then we may just be the place for you.

Responsibilities will include:

• Design and Estimating (experience in Planswift a plus).
• Identify customer needs and preferences in order to create a design that is esthetically pleasing and within the customers specifications.
• Educate customers on specific product features, comparisons and pricing.
• Create concise work orders and coordinate installations; overseeing client projects to completion.
• Project management with builders.
• Job-site installation monitoring and follow-up.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent communication.
• Customer service follow-up.
• Work with store manager to set personal sales goals and lead generation.
• Excel in customer service while presenting a friendly, positive attitude.

• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Attention to detail.
• High school degree; BS degree in design or related field would be a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,504.00 - $98,321.00 per year
