Role:
The MFS Sales Assistant supports the Credit Union's goals, values and philosophy by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence, quality member service, commitment and accountability. As a member of the Credit Union's support staff, performance includes demonstration of the following accountabilities: confidentiality, member service and communication.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist representatives with client servicing (address changes, questions, account changes, etc.) Maintains client files to meet compliance requirements, ensuring confidentiality of correspondence and documents. Maintains supplies of Member's Financial Services information. Performs all other administrative/clerical duties in the Members Financial Services department.
- Review submitted paperwork for accuracy and completeness; follow up with representative, client or home office to obtain necessary documentation. Process paperwork for annuities and life products. Complete mutual fund trade tickets, place trades, and monitor for settlement.
- Run illustrations, assist in fund performance research and prepare client presentations for representatives.
- Coordinates member seminars conducted by the Representatives and other activities that are a part of the program's marketing plan.
- Responsible for contacting members referred to Members Financial Services by other credit union departments. Coordinates and schedules member appointments. Responsible for tracking members referred to Members Financial Services by other credit union departments. Maintains progress and trend reports for the Representative and for the Credit Union.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience - Three years to five years of similar or related experience..
Education - A high school education or GED.
FINRA SIE, Series 6 and/or Series 7, Series 63, and/or IAR (65/66 or appropriate designation) registrations REQUIRED.
State life, health, and variable insurance license are REQUIRED.
Interpersonal Skills - Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills - Ability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals; organizations and administrative skills; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft software products and Sales Force.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.27 - $25.50 per hour
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
