Job Description
The Head of Sales Enablement works closely with the sales team, and key internal and external stakeholders, to help drive the organization's growth with existing and prospective institutional asset management clients. The role involves providing strategic and executional oversight of enablement programs, such as sales process design and support, providing national leadership and strategic vision for a consistent and scalable go-to-market strategy, and driving adoption of technology tools to support effective and efficient selling. In addition, the role will be responsible for regulatory supervisory oversight of registered representatives. The autonomous leader will have strong leadership, relationship, and management skills. This leader will be customer centric and growth oriented, with a disciplined and strategic approach to compliance, risk management, and expense control.
Primary responsibility is leading a team to support successful sales, relationship management, and client service professionals firmwide, across multiple product sets and client segments. Works closely with investment team, sales staff, marketing, client service, risk, legal, compliance, and product developers to contribute to the fulfillment of the firm’s vision. Specific responsibilities will include national leadership and management related to consultant relations, lead generation, RFP responses, conference strategy, client education & events, sales training and professional development, principal supervision for ad review functions, and business line oversight of compliance with enterprise gift and entertainment policies.
Essential Functions
- Develop and lead the sales enablement programs to support business line growth goals
- Manage a team of professional employees and provide regulatory related supervision and oversight of risk management and compliance programs
- Identify and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure enablement strategies are yielding positive return on investment
- Develop and lead quarterly sales training and professional development for Distribution professionals
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 10 or more years of related experience; MBA a plus
- 5 or more years of prior management experience
- A strong understanding of the B2B / Institutional sales environment
- FINRA series 7, 63, & 24; or ability to obtain within 120 days
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Working knowledge of the company's products and services
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and savviness; ability to cross-collaborate towards shared success
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills; fast learner
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Power Point and Excel
- Linked IN Sales Navigator, Sales Force CRM, and lead generation tools experience a plus

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
