Full description of the position

CALIFORNIA FIELD SALES MANAGER and SOCAL BRANCH MANAGER

PURPOSE

The National Field Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing all Field Sales Reps in California and holding them accountable for their targets. A Branch Manager oversees the Operations of the Branch to ensure maximum profitability and customer service.

SCOPE

A California field sales manager directs the company's field sales reps in California: sets goals, and establishes training programs for the sales account representatives. A field sales manager may also advise the sales account representatives on ways to improve their sales performance, achieve goals, and obtain expected quotas. This includes the LA Sales Team and one Bay Area Sales Supervisor. A SoCal Branch Manager oversees all Operations for SoCal Sales including Las Vegas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Study and Analyze stats of the company
  • Set Sales Targets with Sales Managers
  • Analyze the Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Numbers
  • Strategize with Field Reps to meet the Sales Targets
  • Effectively Communicate with all departments to achieve Sales Targets
  • Establish performance Goals with each Sales Team
  • Motivate and Inspire the Sales Team
  • Generate reports based on facts to be presented to the Executive Team
  • Make use of accountability processes and tools
  • Implement and maintain a structured performance review process
  • Conduct structured ongoing Sales Meetings
  • Conduct weekly one on ones with subordinate Team Members
  • Responsible for the field sales administration
  • Give input on compensation plans creation and implementation
  • Accurately forecast revenue for the field sales organization
  • Manage the LA Branch Operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery and profitability
  • Conduct Annual Performance Reviews for the LA Team and Bay Area Sales Team on a timely basis
  • Utilize Google Hangouts to coach and motivate the Sales Team
  • Training
  • For Asain Doors - Familiarity /experience with mainstream grocery chains operations and dealings with their head offices (e.g. Walmart, Savemart, Costco, Target, Sam’s Club)

KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE

The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

  • Knowledge of Asian food products and culture especially Filipino
  • Knowledge of the company’s accounting and project management systems (SYSPRO and SAW and PODIO)
  • Knowledge of sales strategies and approaches including marketing strategies, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • 8-10 years Food Industry Sales Management experience

  • Ability to prepare, manage and analyze reports in SAW, Excel, Syspro and PowerPoint

  • Proven management of quota carrying sales team
  • Formal training in Sales and Sales Management
  • CRM experience preferred
  • Proven ability to lead Sales Meetings and Process
  • Be a brand ambassador
  • Refined Sales Forecasting Skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
