We are looking for a detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to contribute to the achievement of sales targets by supporting sales representatives, coordinating sales activities, and maintaining good customer relationships. The Sales Coordinator's responsibilities include supporting sales, ensuring order satisfaction, maintaining books of business, coordinating with other departments, motivating staff, handling administrative duties, and promoting customer satisfaction.
To be a successful sales coordinator, you should be a team player with excellent organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills. You should also possess strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
The Sales Coordinator's responsibilities include supporting sales, ensuring order satisfaction, maintaining books of business, coordinating with other departments, motivating staff, handling administrative duties, and promoting customer satisfaction.
These responsibilities include:
· Manage custom and traditional sponsorship and advertising campaigns from receipt of insertion order through collection of payment.
· Support Sales Team with journal and digital ad tracking, invoicing, and closing data support.
· Process client IOs in Salesforce, update relevant trackers and maintain, update, and keep current order details.
· Liaise with other teams, including Sales, Editorial, Production, Projects, and Finance.
· Invoice advertising purchases and special projects including processing of Purchase Orders and billing authorizations utilizing Quickbooks. Work closely with the Finance Department to ensure timely billing, resolve any billing issues, and update pacing and revenue reports.
· Maintain multiple books of business ensuring accurate page counts and costing.
· Work closely with Projects Team to ensure that sponsored emails/ eblasts are invoiced.
· Performing basic office tasks like filing, data entry, and mail processing.
· Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements:
1 to 3 years of previous office work experience.
Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Teams required.
Experience with QuickBooks required.
Attention to detail and exceptional oral and written communication skills are required.
High level of accountability, accuracy, and efficiency, especially when multitasking.
Ability to work well under pressure and on a deadline is a must.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Position is a hybrid office/remote offering; candidate must be within commuting distance of office.
