Our client is a large general contracting firm that does commercial work, located in Middlesex County. The company is business casual, has a laid-back environment, and a great culture. They are seeking a Bid Coordinator to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$55,000 – $65,000

Position Overview:

The Bid Coordinator will complete various administrative tasks such as answer phone calls, screen emails, and maintain the calendar. The Bid Coordinator will also review subcontractor paperwork and check required documentation for a construction bid.

Responsibilities of the Bid Coordinator:

• Work with subcontractors to generate construction bid paperwork
• Having flexibility in hours due to bids
• Support the Chief Estimator and daily tasks and assignments
• Review the construction bid information and present information to the Estimation team
• Ensure accuracy of construction bid information
• Maintain the calendar, phone calls, and email communication
• Fax, file, scan, and make copies as needed
• Work on ad hoc projects and assignments

Qualifications for the Bid Coordinator:

• 3+ years of experience
• Having flexibility in hours due to construction bid days
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Adobe, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Multi-task and handle multiple tasks
• Personable and a team player
• Ability to work independently

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED is required
