The Richmond Group USA - Manufacturing Search Division is activity searching for an up-and-coming Sales Engineer to join a leading US manufacturer of plastic injection molds. This is an outstanding role for an energetic plastics engineering professional who wants to be in a customer facing role. This company specializes in the design and building of complex precision injection molds for small to medium sized plastic parts. They have fantastic customer relationships and have seen significant sales growth over the last 5 years. Their customers are Domestic US OEM's and contract molders in the medical device / medical products, automotive parts, CPG (Consumer packaged goods), outdoor power equipment products, consumer electronics, and industrial products industries. This critical business development position will manage existing accounts while identifying customer needs and new business opportunities. This well-rounded position will require project management and customer service skills to increase sales and strengthen customer relationships. This is a very exciting time to join this company! Background:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technical (BSME, Plastics Engineering, etc.) is preferred, with a minimum of 2 years experience plastic injection molding experience
• Strong working knowledge of injection mold design concepts, practices, and procedures, in order to articulate with customers.
• Experience with business development, sales, procurement, cost analysis, etc. is a plus
• Ability to sustain customer relationships and drive customer satisfaction and new business.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
