With the footprint of IVX Health continuing to expand, we are seeking a Clinical Support Liaison to support our continued growth nationwide! This is a fully remote position that requires minimal travel.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Clinical Support Liaison is responsible for day-to-day support of both internal and external stakeholders in order to provide world-class customer service in our efforts to quickly and effectively treat as many patients as possible.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a liaison between providers and operations and revenue cycle to ensure excellent delivery of services with appropriate prior authorization and continued provider referrals
- Develop positive working relationship with referring providers
- Initiate and engage in discussions with referring providers to resolve outstanding prior authorization or process-specific issues at the referral / patient level
- Leverage clinical expertise to respond to and resolve clinical inquiries from referring providers and internal sales / operations colleagues
- Assist in coordinating intake and prior authorization tasks
- Assist in eliminating barriers regarding insurance requirements and medical policy, medical records, drug label, and prior authorization requirements
- Assist in clinical appeals and / or payor peer-to-peer calls for denials received for medical necessity pre, or post bill as needed
- Clearly document all case specific communication and activity in appropriate systems
- Regionally assigned to accounts, but as required covers multiple customers’ needs in other IVX Operating regions as required
- Partners effectively with other internal departments, specifically: Prior Authorization, Pre-Registration, Business Development, Field Operations

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES
- Well-developed knowledge and skills in areas of utilization management (UM), medical necessity, and patient status determination
- Knowledge of intermediate-to-advanced medical terminology
- Familiarity of EMR/EHR portal tools (Epic CareLink)
- Demonstrate a commitment to improving the quality and consistency of patient care
- Highly effective interpersonal skills, self-confidence,

- Proficiency with standard office software applications (Microsoft Outlook, Office, Teams) and medical software such as EMRs, practice management, and patient / provider communication platforms
MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 3 - 5 years of clinical experience in an acute setting, case management, utilization management or payor setting. InterQual and/or MCG experience
- Payor portal experience (Availity, GHP Medicaid, Navinet, UHC)
- Experience in Ambulatory Infusion space with payor or provider entities preferred
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Associate Degree required
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field strongly preferred, specifically Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing
- Maintain current RN / LPN licensure
